Soil stabilization using the fly ash - international experience and initial results of own research

Апстракт
This paper presents the most imporant results of published international researches about soil stabilization using fly ash. The reaction mechanism of fly ash on important physical and mechanical properties of soil is described. Also, the own laboratory testing results of improving the soil from the borrow pits at the site of the future regional waste management center “Kalenić” in village Kalenić, by adding the fly ash from thermal power plant “Kolubara” are presented.
