Measurement uncertainty: Concept and procedural steps for quantification

AB  - The paper presents the procedure for estimation of measurement uncertainty, which is one of basic requirements of standard SRPS ISO/IEC 17025, applied in accredited laboratories for testing and calibrations. The concept of recognizing the uncertainties is defined, as well as the basic principles for its analyses. The procedure of determination of uncertainties is presented in detail, from specification of measurants and definition of sources of uncertainties, to quantification of all the components that can contribute to the entire uncertainty. The procedure is demonstrated on the example of determination of bulk density of asphalt pavement core samples.
AB  - U radu je prikazan postupak analize merne nesigurnosti prilikom sprovođenja laboratorijskih merenja, što predstavlja jedan od osnovnih zahteva standarda SRPS ISO/IEC 17025 za akreditovane laboratorije za ispitivanje i etaloniranje. Data je definicija pojma merne nesigurnosti, kao i osnovna načela za njenu analizu. Detaljno je prikazan postupak proračuna merne nesigurnosti, počev od specifikacije mernih veličina i identifikacije izvora nesigurnosti do kvantifikacije komponenata i izračunavanja ukupne merne nesigurnosti. Postupak je ilustrovan na primeru određivanja zapreminske mase uzorka iz izvedenog sloja.

The methodology of analysis regarding the results of interlaboratory testing

AB  - The paper presents the analysis of results of inter-laboratory proficiency tests performed in accordance with standard ISO 5725. The methodology for evaluation of each individual laboratory through definition of critical interval and deviation coefficient Z is presented together with methodology for determination of repeatability and reproducibility through calculation and graphical presentation of Mendel's parameters 'h' i 'k' and statistics of Cochran's test 'C'. The approach is illustrated through analysis of results of interlaboratory testing for evaluation of characteristics of asphalt mixes in which 4 accredited laboratories have participated and which was initiated by the Laboratory for roads and geotechnics of the IMS Institute. .
AB  - U radu je prikazan postupak analize rezultata međulaboratorijskog uporednog ispitivanja u skladu sa standardom ISO 5725. Posebno su obrađeni metodologija za vrednovanje rada pojedinih laboratorija preko određivanja kritičnog intervala i koeficijenta odstupanja Z, kao i određivanje ponovljivosti i reproducibilnosti preko definisanja i grafičke predstave Mendelovih parametara 'h' i 'k' i određivanja statistike Košranovog testa 'C'. Postupak je ilustrovan na analizi rezultata međulaboratorijskog uporednog ispitivanja karakteristika asfaltnih mešavina, u kome su učestvovale 4 akreditovane laboratorije, a inicijator je bila Laboratorija za puteve i geotehniku Instituta IMS u Beogradu. .
