AB  - In this paper, the new type of Preisach model, that describes the inner hysteresis looops of structural mild steel under cyclic loading, is developed. It is the multilinear mechanical model, that describes closed hysteresis loops typical for structural steel. The analytical model and appropriate Preisach triangle, suitable for engineering practice, were defined. This model was verified by comparison with the experimental results. The experiment has been carried out on structural steel S275 specimens, cyclicly loaded.

AB  - U ovoj doktorskoj disertaciji biće razmatrano elastoplastično ponašanje konstruktivnih mekih čelika privelikim naprezanjima u plastičnoj oblasti. Biće pokazano da je osnovna karakteristika naponskodeformacijskog dijagrama ove vrste čelika, formiranje horizontalnog platoa tečenja između zoneelastičnosti i zone plastičnog ojačanja. Ovaj fenomen, koji se ispoljava u vidu lokalne nestabilnostiatomske rešetke (Lüders band) je samo karakteristika monotong naprezanja, dok kod ponovljenognaprezanja iščezava. Koristeći Preisach-ov histerezisni operator, razvijen je materijalni model, koji savelikom tačnošću opisuje ponašanje ovih čelika pri monotonom aksijalnom naprezanju. Materijalnimodel u vidu analitičkog izraza za vezu dilatacija-napon veoma dobro aproksimira oblasti elastičnosti,horizontalnog platoa tečenja i plastičnog ojačanja, karakterističnih za konstruktivne meke čelikeizložene ovoj vrsti naprezanja...
AB  - In this doctoral dissertation, the elastoplastic behavior of structural mild steel under large deformationsis explained. It will be shown that the stress-strain diagram's main characteristic of this steel type is theformation of a horizontal yield plateau between the elastic region and the plastic hardening region. Thisphenomenon, manifested in the form of local instability of the atomic lattice (Lüders band), is only acharacteristic of monotonic loading, whereas in the case of alternating loading it disappears. UsingPreisach's hysteresis operator, a material model was developed, describing with excellent accuracy thebehavior of this type of steel under monotonic axial loading. The material model in the form of ananalytical expression for the strain-stress relationship very well approximates the regions of elasticity,horizontal yield plateau, and plastic hardening characterized for structural mild steel under this type ofloading.

A Preisach Model for Monotonic Tension Response of Structural Mild Steel with Damage

AB  - This paper presents the new type of Preisach model that describes the elastoplastic behavior of structural mild steel under axial monotonic tension load with damage. Newly developed model takes into account elastic region, horizontal yield plateau, plastic hardening region, and softening region due to material damage under tension. In order to study the monotonic behavior of structural mild steel and find suitable material properties for the model, monotonic axial tensile tests up to the failure are carried out. Tests are conducted on specimens of the three most common types of European structural steel S235, S275, and S355. The basis of the model represents a mathematical description of material single crystal monotonic axial behavior. In the multilinear mechanical model, a drop in stress, after achieving ultimate stress under tension is achieved by a negative stiffness element. The good agreement with experimental results is accomplished by parallel connection of infinitely many single crystal elements, forming the polycrystalline model. The model represents a good solution for common engineering practice due to its geometrical representation in form of Preisach triangle.
