AB  - Produktivnost predstavlja jedan od ključnih indikatora građevinske proizvodnje, kao i
faktor koji bitno utiče na visinu nepotrebnih troškova. Unapređenjem produktivnosti
stvaraju se preduslovi za smanjenje proizvodne cene, ostvarivanje visokog profita i
povećanje konkurentnosti firme. Zbog angažovanja velikog broja različitih resursa,
kontrola produktivnosti na građevinskim projektima je otežana, često zakasnela i
neefikasna. U radu je predložen pristup za identifikaciju ključnih resursa, koji mogu bitno
uticati na visinu produktivnosti na projektima. Na taj način stvaraju se preduslovi za
fokusiranu kontrolu, pre svega ključnih resursa, gde su greške najskuplje i gde treba
delovati preventivno, ciljano i efikasno. Predloženi pristup podržava lean principe. U radu
su analizirane najčešće korišćene metode za merenje produktivnosti i date su preporuke
za njihovu primenu na ključnim resursima, sa ciljem unapređenja poslovanja.

Preliminary quantity estimation in construction using machine learning methods

AB  - This paper analyses the problem of estimating the required quantities of major work items in the construction of residential and residential-commercial buildings using machine learning algorithms. The goal is to form a model that will provide a fast and sufficiently accurate estimate of the quantities of major work items, based on a small amount of known information on the technical characteristics and the environment of future residential and residential-commercial buildings. The case study included 71 projects of residential and residential-commercial buildings construction realised on the territory of the Republic of Serbia. Several models have been developed, and the paper presents those models that had the best performances. The models developed in this way can significantly contribute to resource planning and the accuracy of cost estimates in the early project phases.

Estimating residual value of heavy construction equipment using ensemble learning

AB  - Knowing the right moment for the sale of used heavy construction equipment is important information for every construction company. The proposed methodology uses ensemble machine learning techniques to estimate the price (residual value) of used heavy equipment in both the present and the near future. Each machine in the model is represented with four groups of attributes: age and mechanical (describing the machine) and geographical and economic (describing the target market). The research suggests that the ensemble model based on random forest, light gradient boosting, and neural network members, as well as support vector regression as a decision unit, gives better estimates than the traditional regression or individual machine learning models. The model is built and verified on a large data set of 500,000 machines advertised in 50 US states from 1989 to 2012.

AB  - Ovaj rad se bavi problemom procena potrebnih količina radova, kao i koštanja izgradnje stambenih i stambeno-poslovnih objekata korišćenjem algoritama mašinskog učenja. Osnovni cilj je analiza mogućnosti primene mašinskog učenja za razvoj modela koji će za kratko vreme pružiti dovoljno preciznu preliminarnu procenu potrebnih količina i cena glavnih radova na osnovu malog broja poznatih parametara. Istraživanje je sprovedeno na osnovu podataka o realizovanim projektima izgradnje višeporodičnih stambenih i stambeno-poslovnih objekata koji su izgrađeni u periodu od 2012. do 2020. godine na teritoriji Republike Srbije. U radu je predloženo nekoliko modela za procenu količina i cena pojedinih vrsta radova, kao i ukupne cene građevinskih radova. Rezultati analize su pokazali da se veća tačnost može postići predikcijom količina nego cena pojedinih radova. Razvijeni modeli mogu biti korisni u procesu planiranja troškova i količina potrebnog materijala u ranim fazama razvoja projekta.
AB  - This paper deals with the problem of estimating the required quantities of works, as well as the cost of construction of residential and residential-commercial buildings using machine learning algorithms.The main goal is to analyze the possibility of applying machine learning for the development of a model that will in a short time provide a sufficiently precise preliminary estimate of the required quantities and cost of major works based on a small number of known parameters.The research was conducted on the basis of data on realized projects of the construction of multi-family residential and residential-commercialbuildings that were constructed in the period from 2012 to 2020 on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.The paper proposes several models for estimating the quantities and cost of individual types of works, as well as the total price of construction works.The results of the analysis showed that greater accuracy can be achieved by predicting quantities than the cost of individual works.The developed models can be useful in the process of planning the cost and quantities of required material in the early stages of project development.

AB  - Tokom realiazacije projekta česta su kašnjenja od strane svih učesnika na projektu. Analiza kašnjenja ima za cilj ne samo kvantifikaciju ukupnog kašnjenja na projektu, već i determinaciju i raspodelu  uticaja svakog od učesnika na kašnjenje projekta. Metode koje se sreću u literaturi i praksi odlikuju različiti pristupi u evaluaciji kašnjenja i dodeljivanja odgovornosti. Cilj ovog rada predstavlja analizu procesa i dobijenih rezultata As Planned vs As Built  i Impacted as planned metoda za analizu kašnjenja sa studijom slučaja. Proračun će biti sproveden u softverskom paketu MS Project.

AB  - Hydro-insulating materials serve not only to prevent the water penetration in
a building but to protect it from its harmful influence. The bad water influence on a
building is second in a row, just after the fire, and it is the cause of damage and
collapse of the construction. The choice of the reliable hydro-insulating material is an
investment that will pay off during the exploitation of the construction. The choice
problem is often because of the multi-criteria. For solving this problem , the method of

AB  - Koeficijent korišćenja radnog vremena (Kv) je jedan od najznačajnijih redukcionih koeficijenata pri proračunu učinka građevinskih mašina. AB  - Vreme za izvođenje radova je parametar koji je od suštinskog značaja i za izvođača i za investitora. AB  - The processes of industrialization and urbanization, apart from positively reflecting on the overall progress of a society, also have the increase of communal waste as a consequence. At the same time, these processes activate a series of new possibilities when it comes to development of the environmental responsibility. Inadequate waste management leads to pollution of all the environmental media and that is why there is so much interest for action in this area. The structure of this paper is presented through the activities from the construction phase of the objects for waste acceptance – sanitary landfills. By working in several directions, geo-synthetic materials can present the answer to complex mechanisms appearing not only during the building phase but also during the exploitation. The dominant role of a geo-barrier is not limited to the protective function as it can also, to certain extent, affect the mechanical characteristics of the soil it is set on. Besides construction technology for such objects, a comparative presentation of the types of geo-barriers is given, including the possibilities and limitations during the construction and exploitation.

AB  - This dissertation contains analysis of reinforced concrete (RC) walls performance under seismic loading. Limit states, ductility and energy indicators of RC walls behavior are examined, along with their failure mechanisms. Sources of theoretical and experimental research of RC walls behavior under static load and load that simulates seismic action are thoroughly and critically examined. Proposal of a nonlinear mathematical model of RC walls behavior under cyclic load was provided, as well as a simplified model suitable for practical analysis Results of analysis are verified by the available experimental research. Nonlinear numerical models of RC walls are used in this study for simulation of seismic action impact on the multi-storey buildings in dual structural systems. Using adequate (here developed or modified) numerical model provides information about the parameters required for proper behavior of RC walls in concrete structures. Based on the proposed model, building structures of various layouts, heights and arrangement of RC walls were analyzed. The analysis was performed using nonlinear methods: static nonlinear (push-over) method and dynamic method which integrates motion equation (time-history method). Storey drift, maximum inter-storey drift and acceleration of ceilings are comparatively analyzed, as criteria for assessment of seismic performances, due to their direct influence on the damage of structural and nonstructural elements.

AB  - Post-projektnu analizu čine sve aktivnosti čiji je cilj sagledavanje parametara kako je objekat izveden, uključujući i to u kojoj meri on ispunjava projektovane zahteve, kao i to u kom stepenu su sami korisnici zadovoljni “gotovim proizvodom”. Preduzeća koja podjednaku važnost pripisuju post-projektnoj analizi kao i samoj realizaciji projekta ne ponavljaju greške! U toku realizacije projekta “Rekonstrukcije i modernizacije deonice Gilje-Ćuprija-Paraćin, pruga Beograd-Niš”, započeta je izrada post-projektne analize. Način izrade i zaključci su prikazani u radu.

AB  - This paper presents a comparative analysis of embodied energy and CO2 emission, in the construction process of three bridge structures. Analyzed structures are prestressed concrete bridges with different structural systems and a total length of 88 meters. The correlation of structural system, construction method, material quantities and embodied energy and CO2 emission were considered. Influence of the selected solutions in main steps of design and construction on the energy consumption and the emission of CO2 is presented. The results should provide a better understanding of the effects of certain factors, in the bridge construction process, and their impact on the environment.
AB  - U radu je prikazana uporedna analiza vezane energije i emisije CO2 u procesu gradnje, za tri mostovske konstrukcije. Analizirane konstrukcije su prethodno napregnuti betonski mostovi, različitih statičkih sistema, ukupne dužine 88 metara. Razmatrana je međusobna uslovljenost izbora konstruktivnih rešenja, načina izvođenja konstrukcije, količine utrošenog materijala, vezane energije i emisije CO2. Dat je uvid u način na koji se glavni koraci u projektovanju i izvođenju mostova odražavaju na energetski utrošak i emisiju CO2, procentualno i u ukupnom iznosu. Dobijeni rezultati bi trebalo da omoguće bolje sagledavanje uticaja pojedinih faktora u procesu izvođenja mostova i njihov uticaj na životnu sredinu.

AB  - Za kvalitetno planiranje i upravljanje građevinskim projektima неопходно је обезбедити relevantne i kvalitetne izvore tehnoloških informacija. U radu je prikazan jedan od mogućih pristupa analizi postojećih izvora tehnoloških informacija u cilju prepoznavanja njihovih karakteristika i utvrđivanja odlika "optimalnog izvora" informacija. Da bi se preciznije definisala priroda "optimalnog izvora" tehnoloških информација, izvršena је anketa među ekspertima građevinske struke kojom su istraživani njihova iskustva u traženju tehnoloških informacija, izvori koje koriste, problemi sa kojima se susreću i navike koje imaju u svakodnevnom radu.

AB  - Rezidualna vrednost, ili vrednost polovne mašine definiše se kao cena za koju se korišćena mehanizacija može prodati na tržtu u određenom periodu. Ovo istraživanje ima za cilj da pomogne razvoju kreiranja regresionog modela koji mogu da predvide rezidualnu vrednost mašine na aukciji. Istraživanje je pokazalo da postoji razlika u senzitivnosti varijabli onih mašina čiji je ukupni kumulativni broj sati veći od 2000 u odnosu na mašine sa manje od 2000 radnih sati. Rezidualna vrednost mašine ima veću senzitivnost u odnosu na varijablu koja opisuje kalendarsku starost mašine, nego kumulativni broj sati rada mašine.

Current strategy for highway construction in the Republic of Serbia

AB  - In order to achieve the economic development of the Republic of Serbia, it is necessary to provide adequate traffic infrastructure, particularly highways. The second lane on the northern branch of Corridor X (E-75) from Horgoš to Belgrade has been completed, and the construction works on the eastern branch (E-80) from Niš to the Bulgarian border and on the southern branch (E-75) from Leskovac to the Macedonian border are ongoing. Works are also in progress on the Belgrade bypass. Works on the E-763 ("Corridor 11") are executed between Obrenovac and Preljina. Continuation of this road towards Montenegro is being prepared. Also preparations for the highway on the E-761 from Pojate to Preljina are ongoing.
AB  - U cilju ostvarivanja ekonomskog razvoja Republike Srbije neophodno je obezbediti odgovarajuću saobraćanu infrastrukturu, a naročito autoputsku. Završena je izgradnja druge trake na severnom kraku Koridora X (E-75) od Horgoša do Beograda, a u toku je izvođenje radova na istočnom kraku (E-80) od Niša do granice sa Bugarskom i južnom kraku (E-75) od Leskovca do granice sa Makedonijom. Takođe su u toku radovi na obilaznici Beograda. Radovi na E-763 (“Koridor 11”) se izvode od Obrenovca do Preljine, a u pripremi je nastavak ovog puta prema Crnoj Gori kao i autoput na E-761 od Pojata do Preljine

AB  - In everyday work, civil engineers are forced to search for technological information. Out of the many available sources of information, there is no one perfect source. The speed of finding the required information has often a key impact on the quality of their work. In this paper, the ways in which selected representatives of the group of civil engineers gain information on technology are analyzed, their grading of various sources of technological information, as well as the advantages and weakness of each of them. As a conclusion, recommendation for the preparation of an optimal source of information on technology for this specific civil engineering field is given.

AB  - Construction equipment has a great impact on the overall cost of
construction projects. Therefore, careful planning and selection of
appropriate combination of equipment is essential for the economic
success of the contractor. In practice, the process of equipment selection is
mainly based on manufacturer’s recommendations and the contractor’s
intuition without using any scientifically based method.
This paper discusses a model for selection of an optimal set of construction
machines by applying the multi criterion AHP method. The model is based
on comparison of alternative sets using the selected criteria functions
which are defined by the user at the start of each optimization. The
proposed method has been successfully tested on a case of construction of
embankment on a highway section on Corridor X in Serbia. The criteria
functions were: output, unit price and profit per unit. A sensitivity analysis
was also performed to check the stability of the final decision.

AB  - Projektovanje organizacije građenja je neizbežan deo pripreme za realizaciju projekta.
Iako važan, ovaj deo pripreme tehničke dokumentacije pati od niza mana nastalih kao
posledica vrlo kratkog roka, nedostupnosti svih potrebnih informacija i brojnih promena
tehnoloških parametara. Brojni su slučajevi da izvođač pristupa realizaciji ugovora bez
jasnog rešenja logističkih zadataka i plana kako ostvariti ugovorenu dinamiku radova. U
radu su analizirani neki problemi na početku investicionog projekta i dati su predlozi za
izradu Projekta organizacije građenja ukazujući na ulogu tehničkog izveštaja kao
važnog rezimea najvažnijih podataka o tehnološkim rešenjima i karakteristikama
(očekivanim rezultatima) primenjenih organizacionih mera.

AB  - Troškovi depresijacije predstavljaju značajani deo ukupnih troškova rada građevinskih
mašina. Ipak, precizan proračun troškova depresijacije često je težak ili nemoguć.
Metoda ravnomerne depresijacije, koja se najčešće koristi prilikom proračuna troškova
rada građevinskih mašina, ne daje dovoljno tačne rezultate. U radu je analizirano više
metoda proračuna troškova depresijacije, kao i njihov uticaj na ukupne tršokove rada
građevinskih mašina i uticaj na troškove po jedinici mere obrađenog materijala.

AB  - Depreciation expenses represent a significant part of total expenses of construction machinery. Precise calculation of depreciation expenses is often difficult or impossible. Straight line method of depreciation, which is commonly used in the calculation of ownership costs of construction machinery, does not give accurate results. This paper analyzes methods of depreciation expenses calculation, as well as their impact on the overall expanses of construction machinery and the impact on the cost per unit of material processed.
