dc.description.abstractThis paper describes design model developed to predict the flexural capacity and stiffness of timber beams reinforced with CFRP plates. The model is calibrated using the results of the unreinforced beams tests and modified to account for the effect of the CFRP reinforcement. Theoretical results of reinforced glulam beams were compared to experimental results and they match well.en
