Neki geotehnički aspekti izgradnje regionalnog centra za upravljanje otpadom "Kalenić" u selu Kalenić

Abstract

Future regional waste management center ”Kalenić” is modern system that in controlled manner ensures the protection of the environment from waste materials. Geotechnical conditions have an enormous significance for the construction and proper functioning of such facility. In this paper, a brief overview of future regional landfill nad geotechnical characteristics of the terrain, obtained by laboratory testing, are presented. Special attention is devoted to the analysis of the applicability of fly ash from the "Kolubara" power plant to improve the characteristics of existing material to be used for the construction of embankments, with the presentation of the results of laboratory tests conducted.
