Layerwise Model for Soft Core Sandwich Plates

Abstract
In this paper free vibrations of soft-core sandwich plates, using layerwise plate model are analyzed [4]. The proposed model assumes displacement, and thereby deformation and stress fields at the layer level, being able to realistically describes the plate anisotropic behavior. Governing differential equations are derived applying Hamilton’s principle, by using assumed displacement field, linear strain displacement relations and 3D plate constitutive equations. The analytical solutions for plate free vibrations are obtained following the Navier’s technique and solving the eigen value problem. Numerical results are found using original program, made in MATLAB programming language, and are verified with those from the literature. Some new results for soft-core sandwich plates, using proposed layerwise model, are shown.
U ovom radu analizirane su sopstvene vibracije sendvič ploča sa mekim jezgrom primenom slojevitog modela ploče [4]. Predloženi model polje pomeranja, a time i deformacija i napona, pretpostavlja na nivou sloja, čime je u stanju da realno opiše anizotropno ponašanje ploče. Osnovne dinamičke jednačine problema izvedene su primenom Hamilton-ovog principa, koristeći pretpostavljeno polje pomeranja, linearne veze deformacija i pomeranja i 3D konstitutivne jednačine ploče. Analitička rešenja sopstvenih vibracija ploče su nađena Navier-ovim postupkom i rešavanjem problema svojstvenih vrednosti. Numerički primeri su urađeni korišćenjem sopstvenog programa, napisanog u MATLAB programskom jeziku, i potvrđeni su sa rešenjima iz literature. U radu su prikazana i neki novi rezultati, za slojeviti model sendvič ploče sa mekim jezgrom.
