This paper presents a numerical study of the dynamic response of 3D structure subjected to a vertical moving load, including soil structure interaction. The dynamic system consists of two substructures, the soil and the 3D structure. The soil is considered as an elastic, homogeneous and isotropic halfspace. It is subjected to vibrations induced by vertical moving load acting on the surface of the halfspace. An efficient approach to the solution of the problem of wave propagation in the halfspace was developed on the basis of Integral Transform method (ITM). Using the ITM, the displacements and the impedance functions of the soil were obtained. These results were input parameters for solving the problem of vertical vibrations of the structure. The structural dynamic response was obtained using the Spectral Element Method (SEM). Based on the theoretical considerations, the numerical analysis was performed.
