Water leakage management in water supply systems
Upravljanja gubicima u vodovodnim sistemima
Apstrakt
Leakage reduction and reduction of un-rationalized water usage is the basis for the effective operation of Water Utility. Current practice of reactive (or passive) leakage reduction should be replaced by proactive search for leakage, or by Leakage Management. The overview of activities need for introduction of leakage management in Water Utilities is presented in this paper. The pressure reduction is among the most important activities, together with introduction of DMA, network monitoring and continuous night flow analysis. The second part of the paper deals with the contemporary leakage detection techniques. Although a number of new techniques exist, still the training of personnel's is the most important factor in successful leakage detection. .
Smanjenje gubitaka i smanjenje neracionalne potrošnje vode je osnova za efikasan rad savremenih vodovoda. Dosadašnja praksa pasivnih popravki uočenih kvarova treba da se zameni praksom aktivnog traženja gubitaka, odnosno, upravljanjem gubicima. U radu se daje kratko pregled akcija koje vodovod treba da učini kako bi uveo upravljanje gubicima i time aktivno radio na njihovom smanjenju. Posebno se naglašava važnost smanjenju pritiska, podeli mreže na bilansne zone, monitoringu protoka i praćenju noćne potrošnje. U drugom delu rada se nabrajaju tehnike koje su na raspolaganju za aktivno traženje gubitaka. Pored niza savremenih tehnika, u radu se naglašava da je obuka ljudi koji će koristiti tu tehniku od ključne važnosti. .
