Abstract
Experimental research results of basic physical and mechanical properties of fiber reinforced self compacting concrete (SFR SCC) are presented in this paper. Besides reference SCC, two fiber reinforced mixtures were made and studied: one with steel and another one with syntetic fibers. The following properties of fresh and hardened concrete were monitored during the testing: consistency, density, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength as well as watertightness. The obtained experimental results showed improvement of technological and mechanical properties of the SCC made with addition of fibers.
