Research in the field of timber structures in the last of few decades, in our country and abroad, are all responsible for an entirely different perspective of timber and timber structures. Quality connectors, industrial fabrication, great resistance against fire, easy and simple assembly, unambiguous low cost, are only a few of the influencing factors of the successful application of contemporary glued laminated timber structures. The productions and realize of glued laminated timber structures, state of the art in this field in Serbia today, as well as examples of existing structures and their perspective in our country and abroad, are represented in this paper.
Istraživanja u oblasti drvenih konstrukcija, poslednjih decenija u svetu i kod nas, rezultiraju potpuno novim odnosom prema drvetu i drvenim konstrukcijama. Kvalitetna spojna sredstva, industrijska proizvodnja, velika otpornost na požar, laka i jednostavna montaža, nedvosmislena ekonomičnost, samo su neki od parametara koji utiču na uspešnu primenu savremenih lepljenih lameliranih drvenih konstrukcija. U radu je prikazana proizvodnja i izvođenje konstrukcija od lepljenog lameliranog drveta u Srbiji danas, primeri izvedenih objekata, kao i perspektiva ovih konstrukcija. .
