Limit analysis of the structure is determined by the type of loading. In many practical problems
structures are subjected to some variable, time dependent loading. In this paper, the limit analysis of the frame structure, subjected to variable loading program is presented. TI1e "SHAKEDOWN" theorem is used to determine the load parameter for some illustrative examples of structures.
