dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to address the critical issue of the shortage of mathematics teachers and professors in Serbia. The old teaching staff is drying up, and there is a lack of new teaching potential. The demoralization of current math teachers is an ongoing concern and as a result, hardly any student want to become math teacher. Soon we will only be able to realize that no one wants to teach mathematics anymore. We will focus on the causes and consequences of the perceived problem.sr
