Testing of reservoir capacity and sedimentation of Piva lake
Abstract
This paper presents the methodology of bathymetric survey made in extremely harsh field conditions such as Piva Lake and Mratinje dam, by using a combination of satellite and terrestrial surveying methods. The modern approach of data processing and spatial analysis of the data was applied. In order to reach relevant conclusions regarding the state of the reservoir and propose future activities, an additional geo-statistical analysis was performed for the purpose of determining the extent of sedimentation and possible decrease of reservoir storage capacity.
