Abstract
This paper deals with the method of solving two-dimensional thermoelasticity problems by FEM. A FORTRAN TRE (TheRmoElasticity) program was developed for solving such problems starting from the most general coupled theory of thermoelasticity up to the classic Duhamel-Neumann theory. The program was tested with the well-known example of V. I. Danilovskaya which is briefly explained in the paper.
