Analyses of shear connection behavior in steel and concrete composite beam for buildings

Abstract
Bending resistance and characteristics of steel and concrete composite beam directly depend from the bearing capacity and characteristics of longitudinal shear connection between concrete slabs and steel beam. Connection between two cross-section elements, concrete slab and structural steel, is necessary to be achieved for realization of composite girder. Head stud connectors are the most common type of connection used in the longitudinal shear connection of composite beam for buildings. In this paper we analyze the longitudinal shear connection with elastic head stud connectors. Numerical example illustrates the calculation in accordance with the Eurocode 4. The concept of partial shear connection which, according to the Eurocode 4, can be used in the calculation and construction of steel and concrete composite beam for buildings is also shown in this paper throughout the analysis of banding resistance of composite beam depending on the actual degree of shear connection.
Nosivost i karakteristike spregutog nosača direktno zavise od nosivosti i karakteristika podužnog smičućeg spoja betonske ploče sa čeličnim nosačem. Da bi se ostvarilo spregnuto dejstvo betonske ploče sa čeličnim nosačem potrebno je ostvariti vezu između ova dva dela poprečnog preseka spregnutog nosača. Mehanička veza sa elastičnim čep moždanicima je najčešći tip veze koji se koristi u podužnim smičućim spojevima kod spregnutih nosača u zgradarstvu. U ovom radu analiziraće se nosivost podužnog smičućeg spoja sa elastičnim čep moždanicima. Prikazan je numerički primer proračuna u skladu sa standardom Evrokod 4. Koncept parcijalnog smičućeg spoja koji se prema Evrokodu 4 sme koristiti pri proračunu i konstruisanju spregnutih nosača u objektima zgradarstva je takođe prikazan u ovom radu kroz analizu nosivosti spregnutog nosača u zavisnosti od ostvarenog stepena sprezanja.
