Important glued laminated timber constructions built in Serbia

Abstract

Glued laminated timber has been increasingly used as a building material in Serbia over the last ten years. In the former state of SFRJ, there were three factories of glued laminated structures, in Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, therefore the structures of glued laminated timber were underrepresented on Serbian territory. After the breakup of SFRJ, thanks to the enthusiasm of individuals dedicated to wooden structures, using of these structures in the Republic of Serbia is on the rise. This paper presents major buildings constructed with glued laminated timber in Serbia, with a description of the characteristic features related to the timber structure.

Primena lepljenog lameliranog drveta, kao konstruktivnog materijala u Srbiji je tokom poslednjih desetak godina u konstantnom usponu. U prethodnoj državi - SFRJ, postojale su tri fabrike lepljenih lameliranih konstrukcija, i to u Hrvatskoj, Sloveniji i Bosni i Hercegovini, pa samim tim konstrukcije od lepljenog lameliranog drveta nisu bile dovoljno zastupljene na prostoru Srbije. Nakon raspada SFRJ, a zahvaljujući entuzijazmu pojedinaca emotivno vezanih za drvene konstrukcije, primena ovih konstrukcija na prostoru republike Srbije je postala značajna. U radu su prikazani značajniji objekti sa konstrukcijom od lepljenog lameliranog drveta koji su izvedeni u Srbiji, sa opisom karakteristika koje su vezani za drvenu konstrukciju.
